Either that or start a cult centered around JS. We're halfway there as it is.
Either way I'm game.
I just sacrificed some bugs to your blood god. Do you think that will help my chances?
Our blood god.
Who knows. Reality is intruding so I guess we'll find out.

Last year the bloodbath began on 3/25 before all the decisions got wrapped up on 4/1. If that's the plan again last year then it looks like there will be some days of dings/wl before the acceptances come. However, there seem to be more acceptances in the pipeline this year than last, so who the hell knows. Regardless, it'll be over in a week. Best of luck.

Does anyone think there's a chance Harvard could be going for a smaller class to maintain their medians? Might be just thinking pessimistically here, but it seems like a lot more JS2s have to go out compared to last year.

Well yeah, now there's more than one.
Sorry to those who got WLed

The good news is that lots of people get off the WL:

my condolences/encouragement to the WLers -- sounds like HLS' WL is actually not a bad place to be, based on last year's acceptances (and obv it's a big accomplishment in itself)
has anyone who got the email had a JS1?

Don't worry! I responded back already denying a spot on the WL. Hope someone else can take the spot that wants it!
I'll head for sunnier pastures.

Is there a Harvard c/o 2018 Applicants Waitlist thread (2014-2015 Cycle)? If not, anyone want to make one for people to hang out in?

Tough about the WL, good luck with your other options though they look very solid.

No idea - this is a different pattern from last year. Per LSN last year they rejected a ton and then WL'd all of the people still standing, but it seems they are mixing things up this year!
FWIW I'm still over here at 10/24 complete, no JS1, total radio silence. Expecting a ding any moment now lol

Ugh, sorry to hear about the WLs. I think this may have been asked before re: dings, but are these all emailed out at once? Or to put it another way, am I safe for today if I haven't received an email, or do I wait in terror for the next few hours?

Now that there are WLs, I think it's time to change the poll since it's no longer all-inclusive of people's results. Could be something similar or something totally different. Any suggestions?

Just add JSWL (over both, over one, under both) and JSD (same)? That's a lot of options...

I liked "Is Jessica Soban the best adcomm ever?" and I want to see if the results are different now that we're barreling towards the end.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
