You did see the April 1st date. Multiple JS1s from early March were told that decisions would be made by April 1. I can't be bothered to go dig it up, but that's where the accelerated timeline came from

I think this would depend on a lot of factors, including your complete date, stats, yield, etc.

I hope so.. Otherwise, Friday's JS1 wave is pointless apart from saving interview time for waitlisters.

I am right there with you, worried and pessimistic about my chance of getting a JS2 anytime soon after early March JS1. From my furious research of LSN and TLS from last year, it seems highly unlikely for people to hear back within 3 weeks of JS1, which is what would need to happen in order for us to be included in early April or late March JS2 wave. I have not seen any initial admit from last year who did their interview after February, essentially (although I did focus on the people with similar stats to mine - K-JD, reverse splitters with very high GPAs). So yeah, the prospect seems grim, but this years cycle has been light on JS2 compared to the previous year, so who knows? Worst comes worst, we will ride out the WL - at least I will (in at all of CCN with money, so cant hurt).

i strongly suspect that yes, some folks who interviewed in March will receive JS2s before the WL. so go ahead and join us in hoping to be swept up in the coming admit wave.
