I'm such a neverL at this point I may just sit out anyways.
Nothing wrong with that. I'm about to negotiate as hard as I can because I don't think I can wait now, my SO gave her boss notice already so I would be in some deep trouble if I turned around and told her we aren't moving and she's now unemployed after working at the same place for years.

What do you guys think is a better negotiation tool- a comparable scholly offer from a closely ranked peer regional school (both offers within 3k/year of each other) or an acceptance from a T6?

Fix it Jesus
Too late :(. He is in his second year. I thought he knew more about law school than me but he settled for a shitty school. I always feel bad for him when I think about it. He is number 11 in his class.

Are there any in between offers? With T6 you should have decent schollies at lower T14...

No...for various reasons I hadn't to apply regionally. I should have applied to lower T14 for negotiation purposes but I was stupid and didn't apply because I knew I wouldn't attend.

Hmmmm...That's tough. I'd throw both of them into the mix- mention the scholly and the T6 acceptance...

My cycle is over, unless we are counting my 7 waitlists.

Why am I still hanging out on this board?

I think what's really getting me this cycle is that I'm sitting here waiting for so long, now assuming it's because I'm getting wait listed, but I also have a js1.

Like before I got a bunch of wait lists pretty much throughout the T14 and I knew my app was weak because everyone but Columbia wait listed me out of hand.

This time I can point and be like "Harvard sees at least the faintest glimmer of potential, why can't some of the lower T14 show some love?"
