WL question: what's the best way to tell Harvard that my senior thesis is bomb (i.e. It will lead to a publication where I'm lead (or only) author)? It can't really go in a resume/CV under publications or accomplishments bc it's not done yet. Include in LOCI?

Tie it to something you'd like to do at Harvard.

To any waitlisters who are riding it out and are interested in hearing about ASW, PM me!! I just got back and am about to ride the Harvard hype train all the way to the bank.
FWIW, I'm a KJD with PI/govt focus and I'll be saying no to a full at NYU to choose H, so that should tell you it was pretty dang great

Radio silence. JS1 on 3/16. No email, no updates on the status checker. I was told that I would have a decision by 4/1 but here we are.

JS1 2/13, same boat.
JS1 2/12, same. Has anyone called to ask about a timeline and gotten an updated answer?

What's the read of my situation if I am on the WL but never interviewed? I hear that you have to interview to get in at all, but seems like there are plenty of qualified people who have interviewed and then were WLed, so why would they bother to keep me around? Any precedent with this situation?

I'm treating it as a rejection, of course, but would be plenty interested if there was positive forward movement.

Yeah LSN shows at least 80ish people on the WL and I'm sure that's not a complete sample given the % of people who use LSN. Now another wave of WLs today. I'm not liking my chances without a JS1 already. But hey, I was actually pretty honored to even get a WL offer.

Well, the wait with everyone on TLS has been great and Harvard is still my childhood dream....but I am withdrawing from the waitlist! Off to the West Coast for law school! Good luck to all you waiters...now there is at least one tiny WL spot you don't have to worry about anymore :D
