Here's a photo of a classroom that you may not have seen at ASW. Nice view of the lake.

Withdrawing today. I LOVE NU, but it doesn't make financial sense for me.

So the deposit deadline tomorrow is only for those who have already received a financial aid offer, right?

It's also for those on the waitlist. You have to deposit to stay on the waitlist at NU.nmb43 wrote:So the deposit deadline tomorrow is only for those who have already received a financial aid offer, right?

Yeah, I have no idea what that was from. It was too big for most mugs, and it had turned the clear varnish on the wood desk milky. What does that?cookiejar1 wrote:Well I guess I'll bring a coaster to class.

From my experience, the only thing that takes off varnish like that is nail polish removerrinkrat19 wrote:Yeah, I have no idea what that was from. I won't ID them, so don't even ask, but there are two TLSers (that I know of) in that photo.

I got the email that my decision had been made, and then I logged into my decision letter.T20hopeful89 wrote:cbarlow1016 wrote:Waitlisted just now.

andreskicdo: did you just get in? If so, it seems they're sending out decisions today ...
Meanwhile, the 2 year JD applicants still haven't heard anything.

Johann tweeted on March 21 that the AJD class was full and wl movement would only happen to compensate for attritionDukeofCambridge wrote:andreskicdo: did you just get in? If so, it seems they're sending out decisions today ...

I think Cambridge was referring to the 2-year JD program for international students, not AJDmrizza wrote:Johann tweeted on March 21 that the AJD class was full and wl movement would only happen to compensate for attritionDukeofCambridge wrote:andreskicdo: did you just get in? Yes, sorry for the confusion, I was. Given that I interviewed in December and submitting in early January, it's been quite a while on hold waiting for a decision. Also, when I called at the very beginning of April, I was told that applicants would hear back "in the next two weeks."
Northwestern is my top choice ... I just want to be able to close out my applications cycle so I can focus on finals. (Law finals are not "fun" here, we don't get to bring in outlines at all. For some classes you get a "case list", but that is considered a new experiment).

Congratulations to those committing, and I hope you all enjoy Chicago!
This. Good luck everyone else. I had a really hard time with this decision, but I think I made the right one for myself. And if you ever get a chance to see the Bears lose to the Packers at Soldier Field, do it.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
