Did any of the JS1s Friday come from the hold group? Still in purgatory...

Somebody needs to do an analysis on the impact of LS admissions on work productivity. I cannot think about anything else.

On good days, I'm 75% as productive as I was in December before applying.andreskicdo wrote:Somebody needs to do an analysis on the impact of LS admissions on work productivity. I cannot think about anything else.
On most days: 55%.

Mostly because the fact I'm responding means I'm aware that there are roughly 11 hours and 40 minutes until Tuesday.

there's a lot of truth to these numbers. My most productive days are now Sundays since I know there will be no mail, emails, or calls. hungover brunch morning during undergrad has now become make-up-for-lost-time-from-checking-tls-during-the-week morning.ManOfTheMinute wrote:On good days, I'm 75% as productive as I was in December before applying.andreskicdo wrote:Somebody needs to do an analysis on the impact of LS admissions on work productivity. Oh, the perks of being K-JD--my TLS time comes from Facebook time.jbagelboy wrote:there's a lot of truth to these numbers. Do they tell you who will interview you beforehand? The e-mail confirmation has an "HLS Interviewer" heading, but it's blank. Not a huge deal; just would be nice knowing what style to prep for.

Re: Harvard c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
No, but when you book you can sort by each interviewer. If the one you pick is only doing it 1 day per week, its KB; if the one you pick is practically every day other than the one day KB is doing, its JS. That is at least how they schedule it... it might get switched on you tho.arrggg wrote:Do they tell you who will interview you beforehand? If you have a mac, you can use the link to book the appointment in iCal and it'll tell you. If you're a PC prole like me, the blackberry calendar bit will email it to you and tell you there.arrggg wrote:Do they tell you who will interview you beforehand? It might be wrong, though. Several people have been scheduled for JS and got KB and vice versa.

There will be a name under "Organizer." It worked for me, but like carbon said a lot of people got the other interviewer.ManOfTheMinute wrote:I seem to remember... that at some point in time one was able to tell who their interviewer was going to be, is this still/ever the case?
I have a Mac. But I don't see this anywhere. Did they scrap this feature?

They might have. I also tried looking for it and couldn't find it at all (I have a Mac).wert3813 wrote:I have a Mac. But I don't see this anywhere. Did they scrap this feature?

I did not see this feature either... which is why I resorted to my much less cool methodwert3813 wrote:
