so a bunch of jr1 holds got jr2s. have any holds received jr1 emails yet (excluding people who retook lsat in december after submitting or something)?

Dunno. TLS and LSN are my only sources for such information. Going by those two, it appears not.

I'm all for instant gratification, but one would think I'd be used to it, if only because of my treatment by Columbia. (FOUR MONTHS! NO WORD! FROM HELL'S HEART, I STAB AT THEE!)

I don't know. I don't think he's done with the JR1 -> holds. Also, HLS hasn't taken too many URMs yet. One admit today on LSN listed as a URM isn't a URM, but a Cuban.

I dunno what lz06 qualifies as (ORM or URM) but she's definitely not white.

Out of Held purgatory today. Missed the JR2 and got a follow up email. Being done with HLS is definitely cathartic...1 step closer to being able to make a final informed decision. (JR1 in Dec...i'm still holding out hope for all others who have been waiting forever).

What are the latest JR1s made each year? Also, when HLS admits from the wait-list do they still do a JR1 or just admit those they like?
