Lol when I withdrew (never having heard back), NYU actually asked where I'd be going. Oh you know, just one of the schools that got back to me within a semi-reasonable time frame

they asked you that without having first offered admission? I would have been like "What's it to you, sis?"

I hope that traffic to TLS increases so much so that more and more people discover applying to NYU is not a simple headache, it is a total nightmare.

I'll definitely ask. I paid for a consideration/service. I should hear about the decision at least by their orientation day.
We have application deadline. They should have deadline too. Right?

I'd add every email of every member of the admissions team to the New York Law School mailing list if this happens to me. Then every month, I'd add it to a new school for perpetuity or at least till I get bored.

but yeah... that really happened. she's not even going to appeal because she settled on going somewhere else but still. it's ridiculous.

Doesn't sound like an appeal would have worked out anyway...they would have just given her an instant rejection instead of the $500 refund.
