Wait listed this morning! No js1. But weirdly so much more excited than I expected to be!!!
Anyone know how their wait list works? Is it ranked and how many students typically get off

JS has an updated post on the blog about the waitlist, with an updated FAQ. Includes info about LOCI, LOR, etc...

At this stage of the game why wouldn't you just disenroll from CRS? You can always bring it back next cycle.kr2 wrote:Fun fact: If you spitefully unsubscribe, you get a confirmation email that will give you a second heart attack.OtterLaw wrote:+1. ETA: I'm pretty sure once they've got your information, it's too late.

WL yesterday. Not surprised, considering how long it had been. Surprised at not getting a JS1 though, but I have a feeling it's because I'm older. Unfortunate, but oh well.

Waitlisted today.
Given my stats I'm sort of floored it wasn't an outright rejection. Their waitlist policy is absurd, though.

Is anyone without a JS1 still waiting? That seemed like a massive waitlist wave

Probably that they say you should stay on it with the expectation that if/when you get off it you will accept without knowledge of financial aid, etcpi.radians wrote:I'm happy you weren't rejected. What is absurd about their policy? Just curious what you meant, not (necessarily) disagreeing.wittywitless wrote:Waitlisted today.

Please note that remaining on our waitlist implies that you would be willing to accept an offer of admission to HLS should one be extended to you. If you are extended an offer of admission, we will ask that you respond very quickly, without yet knowing your need-based financial aid package.
Maybe this is the same at other schools; I'll be honest I'm not sure.

I've gotten a lot of information from this forum, so just thought to make an account to give some information back.

got the waitlist email. I wasn't really expecting to get in, but it was nice not to get straight up rejected.

Any of us waitlisteners (new demonym I'm coining) want to take up the burden of creating a separate waitlist thread a la last year? I'd do it, but won't have the time on my hands for the next few days.
