NYU's waitlist movement is like 30-34% accepted in a normal year. This isn't a normal year. Calling it now, 40-50% of the waitlist accepted.
Keep faith alive, friends!

I no longer refresh the status checker for date changes; I'm just focused on the "Mailings" section waiting for "Waitlist Notification Email" to pop up.

What the actual fuck. They need to be chastised by LSAC or something. That's nonsense.haley12 wrote:New worst fear... I will call everyday next cycle asking about my application if I never hear back even though I'll be at another school. It'll be part of my daily routine.

Echoing the previous applicant's. Dinged from Yale today & DLS from Stanford without so much as an update from NYU. 6 months of silence.

For my MA, I was admitted into NYU in September - after already starting at my other school in NYC. The same thing happened to my friend - but with the law school - She was admitted mid May (not waitlisted) & after applying in February. Each of their schools is terribly slow.Instrumental wrote:All right, I didn't need to hear this. Okay, I guess I won't even get a waitlist in April then, because I will get a WL in mid-May. I just want to kill myself for applying in Feb.lilitiger99 wrote:For my MA, I was admitted into NYU in September - after already starting at my other school in NYC. It's not like I wouldn't still take NYU in a heartbeat if they admitted me, by I really wish I could reject them now for putting all of us through this misery
