Yeah, when I'm saying these things, I'm including the money consideration in whether or not my cycle is going well lolS.Picquery wrote:I want to agree with what y'all are saying but I have some great acceptances but only one school that I haven't already decided against has given me final FinAid and it is not a good amount. 288k upon repayment is a cruel consideration IMO.brinicolec wrote:yeah, I agree. Like I said, T15-25 are showing me love and it's nice but T14s are more like "Meh" or "No" or "Yeah, okay, if you're willing to foot this bill yourself [I'm not]"RParadela wrote:URM cycles are so weird sometimes. If we add in my anecdotal holds from Chicago and Columbia to your anecdotal evidence, I think we have clear, undeniable proof that high LSAT scores are, in fact, a detriment to T6 admissions. This is truly groundbreaking research and I'm proud to contribute to it.Mr_Chukes wrote:This just doesn't seem right. There is only one thing to do: wait 6 years and then retake for 150.

My rejection at Chicago supports your thesis. I hope you'll offer me a coauthor credit on this.Sarastro wrote:If we add in my anecdotal holds from Chicago and Columbia to your anecdotal evidence, I think we have clear, undeniable proof that high LSAT scores are, in fact, a detriment to T6 admissions. That's about a wrap. Yet another week has ended and I still have no admissions offers. Does anyone know if admissions committees are likely to be working this upcoming Monday (given that it's President's Day)? I don't want to spend another 3 days just waiting before I can start getting my hopes up again.

I don't really consider President's Day a huge holiday, but who knows. I'd just assume they don't, then you can be pleasantly surprised if they do lolNightwing wrote:That's about a wrap. I've been waitlisted at schools I had a 100, 88, and 81% chance of being accepted into.
Sigh.

Lol I think the 2 schools you had an 8X% at I was the wait list, 2 years ago, as a k-jd, with similar stats, out of FSURParadela wrote:I've been waitlisted at schools I had a 100, 88, and 81% chance of being accepted into.

Clearly these FAKE law schools are discriminating against FSU kids. Not really my experience, but ITT this cycle is like:
School A: This applicant's numbers are good enough to get into School B this year. We'd usually let them in with $$$, but there's no way they'll matriculate. Man, too bad. YP.
School B: Yah, nah.

Another fucking waitlist.
3 in one week. The latest one (Gtown) had me at an 82% chance of getting in as well.
Fuck this lol

Oof, I'm sorry man. Like any application, you'll only end up at one school, so all it takes is one. I know it probably stings, but if everyone from here on out straight denies you, you'll still have an acceptance to UVARParadela wrote:Another fucking waitlist.
