<<officially 'watching' neil on LSN, in the least creepy way possible.

It will be interesting if we end up having similar acceptances, and seeing who decides to go where....

And vice-versa to you and MV. It will definitely be interesting to see, for example, how much that 3.0 GPA barrier factors into decisions. One big difference between us is that neither of you applied to Minnesota, which is near the top of my list because it's where my family lives, and I qualify for residency so it'd be pretty cheap.

But enough about me in the WUSTL thread. Looks like decision e-mails have been coming out around 5:30 Eastern this year, 33 minutes(ish)...

I think I had a 12/12 complete date and it just update, but I also just updated my transcript so could that just mean they recieved my transcript? Not sure. Any thoughts?

mine was 12/28 and it hasn't moved, if that helps. my numbers don't completely out me from wustl.

I just realized this: My new date might not mean anything, either. I had my transcript updated. I went from a 3.88 to a whopping 3.89.

Does anyone know when $$ offers historically come out? I noticed on LSN that they see to be pretty generous, but I couldn't really see when they came out.

According to the admissions office, they come out in March. On LSN, some people got them as early as mid Feb and up to the last week of March.

Yeah, kind of a letdown. Still, looking at the two people I quoted yesterday, one only had to wait 3 hours but the other waited 4-5 days. Still gives some hope for a decision coming relatively soon. Then again, everybody had theirs update at the beginning of December IIRC, and decisions didn't come for a while.

so my status also changed the other day to a new completion date, and I'm hoping that means we are going to have a decision soon. note: a lot of people are getting U of Chicago calls today and at lot of those same people said their status checkers changed earlier this week....so that's a good sign?!

Not exactly, I'm thinking it went complete like 12/7 or so just based off my other apps and when I sent stuff in, but then it updated to 1/13 then 1/14. So I am guessing those of you who have updated dates of complete will probably be hearing in the next day or two.

Me neither. Not taking it as a good sign, but I'm hopeful it just means they started looking at our batch of applications yesterday, and haven't actually looked at ours yet today...

Kinda surprised at how late in the evening people seem to be getting acceptance e-mails from WUSTL...

If you did not receive any mention about scholarships in the acceptance e-mail does this mean you are not being considered for any merit scholarships?
