I was a 3.3/160 and sent my application in the last week of October.

Do you happen to know what date the letter arrived? Also, what state/city are you from? I'm curious to see the general distribution. It seems like most of the WL letters were sent out last Friday. Cali people received it on a Saturday I believe.

hmm...not good, I live in So. Cal and I still haven't gotten anything. I'm guessing I'm not even going to make the WL

It's all good. I guess we'll have to settle with going to UCLA or USC instead.

I live in Manhattan. I'm not sure what date it arrived since I was away but the postmark on the letter says 3/25.

Dean Ortiz said they received 2,700 applications. Do law schools ever just not bother to respond to applicants? I mean, are they going to send out 2,640 rejection notices? Just out of curiosity.

Especially considering the cost of mailing 2600 rejections. I expect a mass email.

yeah, i was relatively optimistic until i read this. 60/2,700 = 2% chance. and didn't someone say they've already filled 30 spots? i wonder what the avg. lsat/gpas of applicants are. i have a 168/3.66 and i didn't send in my app 'til jan 15. ahh fml.

I believe a lot of T1 and T2 schools receive over 4000 applications each year...

Standard procedure is to send out a decision via snail-mail to each applicant...

UCI will probably do the same.

apparently AT LEAST 83 have been accepted already to UCI. of those 83 (at least i hope i was correct in reading it as "of those" and not "besides those" 83) 21 have been admitted. they have submit their intent to register by April 15. that means there are precious few spots left, i guess.

*edit* haha. i guess it was a bit pointless to post this as this is stuff that was already on this board. my bad!

Same boat, 166/3.77 but my app didn't go in until Feb. 27.

I think we would have had a good chance if our applications went in earlier.

The facebook group is for admits who have already confirmed. There is also a google group for all admits. I'm sure there will be some extensive accounts/pictures on both.
