When were you complete, if you don't mind me asking? I have been ready for review for a little over a month now and I'm just confused because I have competitive stats for Cornell.

I'm at the 75ths and have been complete since 10/18 with no interview request.

My status date changed today though I'm still listed as interview requested (I interviewed a few days ago). I assume this means decision soon?

This process is so stressful. I think my GPA is too low but idk they seem a little unpredictable this year, maybe that includes being more splitter friendly.

They YP'd a lot last cycle. But don't worry too much. You will likely have other great alternatives, plus you should stay on the waitlist because they throw around a lot of money at the end of the cycle to waitlisted candidates

Hmm yeah you are correct there. My mistake. Although they also had way less people total to YP in comparison the usual YP culprits. Still interesting though since this person wrote a Why Cornell

ETA: Yeah maybe they'll throw $120-150k schollies to YP candidates in March or April

Wow, these YP situations are kind of shocking to me. So early in the cycle?? I'm really sorry guys, though I suspect you will have other great opportunities and probably wind up in and with $$ at Cornell in the long run.

A lot of YP'd people get in later with money and change their LSN account so it's hard to tell the actual YP numbers.

Dinged today too. >75ths for both. This is really making me sweat. A ding seems extreme for YP. At least waitlist me, man.

Idk what has happened with your apps since this post a while back but a ton of people with amazing stats got dinged from Cornell because of YP, don't sweat it.

Also got one yesterday. I don't even even have an LSDAS GPA yet so it seems they might be worried about their LSAT median - could be good news for splitters!
