No interview request here either. My status date changed today though I'm still listed as interview requested (I interviewed a few days ago). I assume this means decision soon?

Haha yeah I just asked this a couple of posts above... I'm in the same boat. Getting nervous.

Cornell seems to be YPing more than usual this cycle. Don't sweat it. You'll likely have better optionsMrAdultman wrote:WL'd today> both 75ths, no supplements but wrote a sincere "Why Cornell" in the required box.

This process is so stressful. I think my GPA is too low but idk they seem a little unpredictable this year, maybe that includes being more splitter friendly.porzingis3 wrote:Jack_Kelly wrote:My status date changed today though I'm still listed as interview requested (I interviewed a few days ago). In!
Got the call while I was in a meeting so didn’t realize until 2 hours later that I had a voicemail.
It came from a blocked number though, which is interesting.

Has anyone who received the interview request Monday heard any news (positive or negative)?

They YP'd a lot last cycle. But don't worry too much. You will likely have other great alternatives, plus you should stay on the waitlist because they throw around a lot of money at the end of the cycle to waitlisted candidatesAnon-e-miss wrote:Cornell seems to be YPing more than usual this cycle. Guess they forgot to send some out or decided they needed more applicants?

Hmm yeah you are correct there. My mistake. Although they also had way less people total to YP in comparison the usual YP culprits. Still interesting though since this person wrote a Why Cornell
ETA: Yeah maybe they'll throw $120-150k schollies to YP candidates in March or April

Wow, these YP situations are kind of shocking to me. So early in the cycle?? I'm really sorry guys, though I suspect you will have other great opportunities and probably wind up in and with $$ at Cornell in the long run.
Over both 75ths here but have heard literally nothing since going 'ready for review' on 10/25.

A lot of YP'd people get in later with money and change their LSN account so it's hard to tell the actual YP numbers.Anon-e-miss wrote:chargers21 wrote:They YP'd a lot last cycle. 120k is about right

Also, someone got a Ruby off the waitlist at UChi last cycle so people really shouldn't withdraw from waitlists

Idk what has happened with your apps since this post a while back but a ton of people with amazing stats got dinged from Cornell because of YP, don't sweat it.bluejay928 wrote:Dinged today too. >75ths for both. This is really making me sweat. A ding seems extreme for YP. At least waitlist me, man.

Also got one yesterday. I don't even even have an LSDAS GPA yet so it seems they might be worried about their LSAT median - could be good news for splitters!sev wrote:....randomly just got a fee waiver via CRS?
