+1, I'm admitted to quite a few other schools with scholarships but I don't know if I should wait to try to negotiate with them first and submit a reconsideration form later, or just go with what I have right now.Cloture wrote:DM'edcj346 wrote:I've only got two other admits and they are from lower ranked schools in different regions. Has anyone received a response (with a new scholarship amount) from GW yet?dizzylizzy wrote:+1, I'm admitted to quite a few other schools with scholarships but I don't know if I should wait to try to negotiate with them first and submit a reconsideration form later, or just go with what I have right now.Cloture wrote:DM'edcj346 wrote:I've only got two other admits and they are from lower ranked schools in different regions. Re: George Washington 2015-2016 Applicants
I submitted mine last week after receiving the last offer I was awaiting from other schools. GW's offer of 75 total was definitely on the lower end of reasonable for me, given that I am halfway between 25 & 50th GPA and above 75th LSAT, with much better offers from competing schools.jlaw20161 wrote:Has anyone already submitted the scholarship reconsideration form?

Application in review as of 3/1.
I applied at the end of February just because. We'll see what happens!

How skewed are GW's employment statistics because of IP? Are those who do IP the majority of grads who get big law?

Got my full fin aid offer with the need aid offer in an email on Friday (3/4). So looks like some of those are beginning to go out.

Just got an email reminding me about Preview Day, but haven't received a decision yet..? Application checker says decision made and the email has a link to the admitted students portal, but I can't log in to it. On the fence of celebrating, but don't want to jinx myself. Anyone else get this email?

+1 - got the email, checked the checker, read "decision made," but unable to login. Not sure what to make of it, but certainly hoping for the best.Penguins32 wrote:Just got an email reminding me about Preview Day, but haven't received a decision yet..? In but disappointed with the scholarship money. Any success with the scholarship adjustment requests?

Well that's obnoxious. I'm not expecting to get into Georgetown so that probably won't affect me, but I guess on the off chance I get in I can make a decision on which one to go to.hammocklv06 wrote:It *conveniently* conflicts with the Georgetown Open Housecj346 wrote:Planning on sending mine in tonight, so hopefully!BDMPKT wrote:In but disappointed with the scholarship money. Hi guys! I just received my acceptance email today !
quick question sorry if this has already been addressed in the thread but if GWU intends to give you merit scholarship would it be in the initial acceptance email ? Or will it come later ?

Decision made on the status checker, no email yet. This is somewhat frustrating.

I got in in Feb. Created an account. Still having problem logging into the portal. So maybe there is a glitch in their system. I'll email them about this and see what they say.gisi wrote:Same here. Re: George Washington 2015-2016 Applicants
I applied on January 4, 2016, got waitlisted on January 28, 2016. I've sent two LOCI. LSAT: 150, GPA: 3.4. I go to an Ivy League. Does anyone know my chances of getting in? I know my numbers aren't amazing, but I come from a unique/disadvantaged background (which I wrote about in a diversity statement). I'm just frustrated because I hate waiting and I don't know what else I can do... Sorry if this doesn't follow the flow of the thread, this is my first post on this website.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
