Darn, only 25k a year. Think they'd match a 100k+ scholly from Emory? USC is crazy expensive...

Only got 20k/year, but again, with my stats (161 LSAT, 3.86 GPA), that's still more than I was expecting. I wasn't expecting anything.

I'm sure it's been posted before, but in the past USC has been VERY good about negotiating with the caveat that you might have to be fairly aggressive about it. However, I know some people who have gotten some crazy good outcomes.

I got $10k a year with the contingency section about the LSAC Deposit Overlap program.
"We require that since we are making a financial commitment to you, that in return you make a financial commitment to us."
That honestly really annoys me. You're committing $30k total and I have to make a decision to commit over $215k. UGH...

Do you care to go into detail? You can pm me if you'd like to remain anonymous, but I'm interested in what you mean by "aggressive" and if you have any tips/suggestions for negotiating specifically with USC.beckett wrote:I'm sure it's been posted before, but in the past USC has been VERY good about negotiating with the caveat that you might have to be fairly aggressive about it. $25k a year , kinda disappointed, was hoping for more. definitely going to try to negotiate, i got the same amount at UCI.
I'm thinking of leveraging USC against UCI first and then going back to USC? Is that a good idea?
Come on alma mater, give me more moneyyy
