For those of you who are on the wait list, did you receive a confirmation e-mail or anything after submitting the Wait List Response Form?

No which made me nervous so I emailed them a few weeks after confirming my spot on the waitlist and they said that they had received my response form.

Anyone else get denied for a travel stipend for an admitted student day?

Confused because I am traveling from pretty far away and numbers above medians.

Also denied (after a few days of silence). Not above both medians, so I wasn't too surprised on mine . . .

Just got the scholarship email. 75k (25/year). Was expecting a little more. Wake Forest offered 32/yr, and the two are ranked next to each other (I guess that doesn't really matter, though; Fordham is similarly ranked yet notoriously less willing to award big scholarships). Will appeal both offers and see what happens. At this point I'm trying to leverage everything against Cardozo so that they bump their offer up to a full-ride. Good luck to everyone else who's still waiting!

Also, for everyone waiting, I talked to someone in the admissions office last week who mentioned that attendance at an ASW event was a consideration in awarding/processing scholarships. It was really casual, not like "If you don't come we won't offer you anything," but I'm pretty sure she said they give priority to people who register for and/or have already attended an ASW.

That's messed up. Im in the UK right now, clearly I wont be able to come. Yet they hold my scholarship hostage? If thats the case Ill register for an ASW and just not attend.

Got my offer in this morning via email which landed in my spam folder. Super low-balled. Got similar money from Duke, and more from peer schools. GPA ~75%, LSAT >75%.

Also, they say that the first deposit deadline is April 15 and that they do not make exceptions. Does anyone know if that is true or are they bluffing?

I got my offer and got low-balled by a lot too. I bet it is a kind of YP, as I have shown no interest in them and only applied because they said I'd get a 10-day turn around.
