GPA: 3.5 (USC undergrad)
LSAT: 166
completed 1/30
CR1 2/5
CR2 2/12
congrats to all of you who have been accepted!
Been complete since 1/5. Should I call the Admissions office?
No, that's not too long of a wait.
I had a date change to 2/17 but still CR2 (originally CR2 2/12) - is that unusual?

I wouldn't. I've also been complete since 1/5. We're still in a normal waiting period. I'm sure there are a few people in this thread who have been waiting for much longer.

I think there will be a ton of new admits. I just looked at FB site and it's made up of people who won't go to USC for the most part. There aren't even many USC,UCLA,Berkeley undergrads and those 3 are usually the biggest feeders..

Someone is getting fired. Also take a look at the subject line.

I have to admit, as a designer-turned-law-student, I noticed the stray bit of 1px wide border under the logo on the top right before I noticed either of those things.

Its been pretty sporadic, but it seems that most decisions go out on Fridays. If that helps...

Nothing yet. Acceptance letter says only "Insofar as financial aid is concerned, we understand that the cost of legal education is a significant factor in your decision-making process. We anticipate beginning to award scholarship offers shortly so please be on the lookout."

Still sitting at Complete as of 1/5. Does anyone think that submitting a Why USC? and maybe an updated transcript (GPA went from 3:73 to 3.75 last semester) would get their attention and speed up the process at all?

I have the same question. But, for what it's worth, I think a 'Why USC?' would definitely help with your overall app. Not sure if it'd speed anything along though. If anything, it may actually slow it down because they'd have to process something new to add to your app for review :/. Real wishy-washy answer, but I hope it helps at least a bit!

Same thing happened to me! Moved to CR2 on 2/12 but just had a date change to 2/17. Hopefully we'll hear soon??

Hahaha, I just got an edited version of that same email after getting the typo'd one yesterday, along with USC saying "We sent you an email yesterday that needed a bit more proofreading. We apologize for the error."
I think this mends the damage a little bit but it's still so awkward lol

Okay, so disclaimer: I totally don't want this to come off entitled in any way but I had a dream last night that I got WL'd by USC and dream-cried into the letter, "BUT YOU'RE MY ALMA MATER, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?"
I think this cycle has officially become too much for me to handle. Idk.

I was hoping for a wave today but, after taking a look at last year's cycle on LSN, it looks like their biggest waves of acceptances came the last few days of February. I'm guessing we still have another week.
