Despite the fact that Michigan does look more like Hogwarts in winter, January must be really tough...

Credited. I work in Detroit, and my days are usually about 7-5. In the winter I see literally no sunlight since I work in a basement.

Question about the "Why Michigan" essay: I don't live in the mid-west, but I have family that does and lives close to Ann-Arbor, so should I be including that in my essay? I've already sketched it out, and it doesn't really flow naturally with what I have (which I really like). Thoughts?

When did you submit your in-state tuition request to the Registrar?

I don't think you need to include unless it really is a selling point (or if you can convincingly make it one). If you already have some other good points, then don't worry about it.

I received an email saying they got my application on ‎September‎ ‎24‎, ‎2014. So probably about a week before that. It said there was a $300 fee if applying for the fall semester and it was not received by September 30th so I was pretty close to the deadline.

Now THAT is just impossible..

After all it was just my guess based on the fact that the only wave this week happened on Tuesday and it's already Friday today, I assumed it would happen today, plus it changed dates around 5am.. Anyway, stay calm!

I'm going to Nepal tomorrow AHA, do some trekking and stuff to get my mind off this!

Still complete. I'm thinking they are waiting to evaluate all ED apps together. Tomorrow's the deadline so hopefully next week?

Roughly how many ED apps there are every year?

I looked but I don't think they publish that data. They do only admit half of the summer starter class through ED so roughly 45 people.

This is what I was thinking this morning. My 21st birthday is on the 15th...so they've got to let me in, right?

Man, if I were you I would sit out a year before going to law school. You are relatively young compared to other applicants. I think you would be well served by waiting, studying hard, and retaking in June.

Just my two cents.

This. Also, if you improve your LSAT by a couple of points, you will be able to get in Michigan without EDing. But still, good luck on this cycle and happy birthday.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
