Just so you know, that kind of information is useless, unless you give people an idea as to what you think made them evaluate your application so quickly i.e. your stats, your background/work experience, etc. Obviously getting admitted within a week is not the norm. There must have been something impressive about your application. So, it'd be great if you could let the rest of the board in on it.

That's obviously not normal especially at a big school.

My apologies, didn't mean to incite anxiety among you all. My LSAT is above 75th but GPA around median. It was the fastest turnaround I've had this cycle so far. In the even they offer a good scholarship, definitely would consider Fordham. I hope all of you get decisions soon!

no news. I find myself refreshing my email way too much. It is getting kind of ridiculous that they have not rendered a decision for me. I applied like two months ago. I paid my seat deposit at my second choice and I will have to pay a housing deposit soon

I applied on January 26th and have heard nothing. Have emailed them 4 times (every 2 weeks or so) each response has been "we expect to render a decision within a week" My LSAT is above the 75th percentile, decent gpa

My application status just changed from 3/3 to 4/22. First change since March. People who already got decisions, did this happen to you when you got a decision?

Nothing for me. Last status date is 3/5. I'm assuming I'm a ding. Or maybe they're waiting to see how their first deposit deadline fared?

Kathryn Espiritu replied to someone on twitter that they should start looking at the waiting list within the next week or so.

Trying to negotiate for an increase to my original scholarship offer. Has anyone had any success recently?

I applied 2/27. Last date change was 3/5 and I've heard nothing since. I have no idea where I'm headed, but I'm assuming either ding or waitlist. I have a third letter of recommendation that came in after the application deadline. Would any of you recommend sending that before I hear anything? Would it do any good if they're on the fence about me?
Thanks!

Maybe it's just me, but isn't the timing of your question a little off? When most of the people who have posted recently are stressing out about getting a decision from Fordham (accepted, denied), or getting off the waitlist, do you really think anyone cares about you trying to negotiate on scholarship?

Yeah it's just you. I wouldn't stress about what other people request ITT.

I care enough to respond. Outsider, your message was unnecessary.
I tried to negotiate up from 15k per year and had no success. Then again, I didn't really have a good reason. Fordham knows it is a desirable school in Manhattan. Feel free to try, but don't expect anything.

I also paid my seat deposit at my 2nd choice, but the good thing about Fordham is that they'll refund the amount you paid on your bill if you decide to choose Fordham.

for those on waitlist
I called today to confirm receipt of a letter and asked if they were going through waitlist applications yet. not too informative she said they were starting to but had no time frame to give me about decisions whatsoever. also a note, friday is the last tour of the season

Thanks for the info! Hopefully they start extending offers before the 2nd deposit in June.
