Did anyone else do a Skype interview with an admissions rep rather than meeting with an alum? If so, about how long did it last? Mine was really short compared to my other interviews, and it's making me nervous..especially seeing that my status checker date hasn't changed in over 12 weeks :?

Decision mailed today. Vanderbilt is my top choice, so here's to hoping they are still only sending out good news!

Did everyone else's status checker say: "The Admissions Office has mailed your decision letter to the address listed in your application as your preferred address on the date the decision was mailed. Decisions are sent by USPS or FedEx; we do not disclose admissions decisions by email or telephone."
I feel like the addition to USPS means bad news :(

Decision letter sent today!

Because I was too impatient to wait, I created the FedEx shipping manager profile everyone has been talking about. I logged in, went to "view my shipments" and saw a 5lb. package on its way from Nashville, Tennessee. Sure does make the wait easier!

In at Vandy.

How do you do that? I have to know. I'm trying to navigate the FedEx website, but it's a little confusing to me.
Thanks!

Google "FedEx Delivery Manager" and sign up for an account. You will have to input your address and answer some security questions about places you used to live or people you know, ect. You then are asked to create a username and password. Create them and then click back to the main page of FedEx (the Icon next to the left of "ship").

You will be prompted to log in. You enter the username and password you created, and below those options there will be a drop down menu. Select "view my shipments" and it will take you to the page of shipments. On that page should be a shipment from Nashville, Tennessee. Click on it to see the weight.

I couldn't help but laugh at the bad graphics in all of the pictures, though. Dem pixels.

My decision was mailed yesterday but I called Fedex and they said they didn't have anything coming my way. Have they started sending out rejections yet?

Also, I think I remember them sending out batches of acceptances via USPS last year, but I think it's because they ran out of their signature black boxes for a while. This whole process is already enough of an emotional roller coaster. It might be best to try to check out from this thread and your FedEx account until later in the cycle. Save your energy for LOCIs and WL riding.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
