no pants?
Of course not scoobers
the only appropriate response.

I don't know what is more irrational: not wearing pants OR wearing pants because you are afraid they'll check...

I'd like to see someone document themselves doing the interview with no pants. That would be highly entertaining.

I wore jeans with a suit top/tie for my Virgina interview, but that was as far as I was willing to go with the no pants thing. Had tennis shoes on but wore suit pants for my JS1.

Any tips for the interview? What kind of questions do they ask?

Thanks! Does anyone know the turn around between interview and a decision?

You can check last year's spreadsheets but normally the turn around just depends on whether or not you applied RD or ED.

I would imagine most people will know within two weeks of their interview. This is just a guesstimate using last year's spreadsheet.

I wore cologne for my JS1. If I get an interview with Chicago, I will wear cologne again.

Where can we find last year's spreadsheet?

It looks like ED heard back Thursday 12/20 last year. Is it safe to assume that there is a good chance ED decisions will come out at the end of the week? Also, LOL'd at "son of famous politician under softs.

I hope we hear by this week but who knows. I think those who applied ED who received interview requests had to interview by Thursday which leads me to believe we will know either Friday or next Monday.

Did you get a request, assuming you ED'd?

Also, if we are ED and didn't get a request should we start getting our plan B's for this cycle ready?

I wouldn't go that far. You might be deferred to regular decision. You might get in outright with no interview.

Under review today for the third time (second time since my interview). As an ED, really hoping to get a call this week. Does anyone know the specifics about the admission call (not counting my chickens before they hatch, just neurotically curious)? Does the status checker show Decision Letter Sent before the phone call? Certain time of day they usually make the call?

Has anyone with a complete date in December gone under review yet?

ED here. UR 2/2 and 2/17. Got interview invite today.

But it says: "your interview must be conducted on or before Friday, December 20, 2013"

This seems messed up because on the Chicago website, it says they would give me TWO WEEKS to schedule, not two DAYS.

:(

When I go to schedule, the 18th and 20th are free. Can't make 18th, work from 9-5. Can't make 20th, leaving 5am to catch flight. What should I do? I don't see any interview spots next week.

Also, how bad y'all think it would be if I didn't do the interview before the 20th?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
