I'm pretty sure that Penn was buried under a mountain of snow and all of our applications are lost forever. At least, that's how it's starting to feel. I hope they're cold.

Pretty sure last year was 1-2 weeks at least early in the cycle, which gives me hope that the 12/3 crowd could hear before Christmas! Once UR 2, how long does it take to hear a decision for RD?

I've been UR2 for about a month. The time between UR1 and UR2 was only a couple days.Robert_Bert wrote:Once UR 2, how long does it take to hear a decision for RD?

had my second and last review (early decision, however) way back on 10/25 so don't get too excited if you're under review

Re: Penn c/o 2017 Applicants (2013-2014 cycle)
how much of a requirement is it that they stick to the decision given within 12 weeks of going complete thing? because according to that logic I should be hearing in a few days, but I'm still on UR1...

Probably not really a "requirement" at all.2014entering2014 wrote:how much of a requirement is it that they stick to the decision given within 12 weeks of going complete thing? because according to that logic I should be hearing in a few days, but I'm still on UR1...

12 weeks since going complete is today for me so I doubt they really stick to that for the people who applied earliest in the cycle. I too have been UR2 since 10/25, ED2014entering2014 wrote:how much of a requirement is it that they stick to the decision given within 12 weeks of going complete thing? because according to that logic I should be hearing in a few days, but I'm still on UR1...

Not everyone seems to get a UR1 and a UR2 date. I'm not sure what that means, if anything. They definitely are not sticking to the 12 weeks thing. Also, I have to call Penn today to change my mailing address so they know where to send that pesky rejection letter when it comes. I wonder if I can weasel any information about when we'll hear out of these brilliant legal minds...let's see!
