Yeah they get the full transcript along with the LSAC summary report

For some reason my initial reaction was one of dread.

Just to clarify: applicants still interview with one individual, right? There's some language in that post that suggests they could be interviewing together, but that can't be the case.

Now that KB is gone I was hoping JS would find a way to squeeze in 1,200 interviews herself. Wishful thinking, obviously. I'm sure they'll be cool though.

One person.
bee wrote:i'm sure i'm forgetting an obvious source where i can get this info, but does anyone know off the top of their head about what % of people who get js1s get admitted?
Approximately: 1200 interviews / 800 admits = 66%

just curious how you found these stats? I see the 800+ stat on the hls website, but the only source I can find for total interview invites is on the harvard crimson article, where I see that 1000-1200 invites were given two years ago.

also: got a JS1 a few days ago, submitted 1.5 weeks after harvard app opened.

Assuming JS met her goal.

Hey guys!

I dunno of if this one has been asked before but this is my first time to be here. I just want to know how long should the optional essay be? Does it have to have the same format with the PS?

Thanks! :D

how do the JS1 invites normally go? i.e if someone were to get an invite, would they have heard on 10/18 with the 3 people here who posted that they received one, or are there two major dates (i.e. 10/18 and 11/18) for the JS1 invites to go out, or is it more of a slow trickle from 10/18 to december?

So, I went to the information session and Danielle gave out a great timeline of what to expect this cycle.

The notes are in my car, but mainly decisions will start going out mid-november.

Since people have been asking for JS1 numbers, I received a JS1 invite on Friday 10/18.

Numbers are 171/4.0

There will be invites going out in lumps from now until May.
