A couple questions: I can't find my original admit packet. What else do we have to send them after the deposit? And has anyone heard about the refund from ASW yet?

Hey man, I emailed and asked what else i needed to do, they told me to submit transcripts (2x copies) and then I saw that they required 2012 tax forms, which I submitted as well. I think that's it right now... as for ASW refunds, they did contact me to clarify my flight receipt, so I know they're working them.
Thats all I know, if anyone else knows more I'd be happy to hear it too!

I technically do not belong on this thread but I am a wait listed applicant, and I want to get an honest idea of what I am looking at before I wait all summer. I have an efc of 0.00 and I know that stanford has an entirely need based aid so I was wondering how much I can honestly expect? is anyone else in a similar position? thanks for all of the help!

It depends on how much your parents make (assuming you're under the age of what? 30?)switchis32 wrote:I technically do not belong on this thread but I am a wait listed applicant, and I want to get an honest idea of what I am looking at before I wait all summer. My household is just my mother and I, and she makes ~50k and I got ~28k. I'd assume you'd also get at least half tuition, maybe more.switchis32 wrote:I am only claimed by my father and he makes like 65k. Judging from the Facebook thread, it seems like "1Ls always get Munger" was a bit of a flame. I got year-round Munger 4BR so hopefully I can renew my lease and just stick in Munger all three years.

This is random, but has anyone had luck in registering online to claim their student football tickets?

I asked my friend (at Stanford) about this--you claim them the week of the game, at least that's how it worked last year.PRgradBYU wrote:This is random, but has anyone had luck in registering online to claim their student football tickets?

At least in the past, this is correct. You claim them electronically on your suid 3-4 days bfore the game. Theres an online list somewhere of the dates when they open. You should claim quickly since they didnt use to save them for all studentscallmemaybe84 wrote:I asked my friend (at Stanford) about this--you claim them the week of the game, at least that's how it worked last year.PRgradBYU wrote:This is random, but has anyone had luck in registering online to claim their student football tickets?

Re: In at Stanford: Class of 2016
Thanks, guys. I haven't even been able to register for an account on GoStanford.com with my student ID, but I'm assuming once we're registered for classes, that'll change. Looking forward to releasing some stress this fall at the football games.jbagelboy wrote:At least in the past, this is correct. You claim them electronically on your suid 3-4 days bfore the game. Hi, folks -- I'm a waitlisted student posting in this thread to see if any of you have any advice for preparing a targeted recommendation letter. I'm sending some information to my employer and would love any advice for sending along information that helps him write the best letter possible. Please PM me if you do, and thanks a bunch!

I notice that loan money doesn't come out until a week after classes start. How are we supposed to get books/laptop/etc?

Maybe it comes out a week earlier for 1Ls since we start class early? I can't imagine they would have us start without having money to buy books/sign up for meal plans/pay any moving expenses/get drunk for orientation week.HankBashir wrote:I notice that loan money doesn't come out until a week after classes start. ETA: But, in all seriousness, has anyone spoken to the FA office about this yet?

Hello 0Ls. I am a recent law grad from WUSTL and I'm trying to find someone to drive my dog from the midwest to northern California in the next week or so. If anyone is driving that way and would be willing to take my dog I'll help out with gas $. Thanks!
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
