It's tough, man, I know. I think I must've refreshed my page about 900 times the day October LSAT results came back.Anonymous4444 wrote:I don't have the stomach for applications. Im serious I'm not made for this
As far as law school acceptances themselves went, I found my burden got a lot easier once I got into a single school first. Keep your head up and find a good distraction - I got so anxious about law I downloaded The Paper Chase from iTunes on a whim...
Best of luck and know a lot of people on this site feel your pain. I know that won't alleviate your anxiety, but I'm pulling for you.

Apologize if this is a dumb question, but how does that square with the graphs on page 1 of this thread? Seems to indicate big spikes in early January?djwjddl wrote:High likelihood at end of January.Anonymous4444 wrote:Any ideas when Rd will hear

I suppose I phrased it poorly, but what I'm saying is, when I look at those graphs, it seems to indicate that a decent number of RD applicants will hear around January 4th. But the thinking here seems to be that decisions will come out this year in late January. So, am I reading the graphs wrong, and decisions actually came out later in January last year as well, or am I reading them correctly and something is different this year?

I believe January-4 means the 4th week of January rather than the 4th of January.

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Hi guys, I need some advice.
I will be out of the country beginning from late January on (likely until June). I will have mail forwarded to me from my permanent address in the states by my family.
But if there are all these calls I could (hopefully) be expecting in late January, should I notify the schools I have not heard back from and give them my international phone number? Otherwise, the current U.S. number I'm using will be shut off. I expect an email will eventually come, in the (hopeful) case(s) of acceptance. But what if some schools (ex. Harvard) only call (rather than also email) to notify me of a phone/skype interview? Or if they have to resort to email, might they not wait for me or just figure they can't reach me?
Any ideas would be appreciated!

Forgot to add:
I also don't know if "updating" my application (i.e., the phone number) would put my application back at the end of the pile.

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
So Columbia just requested my fall semester grades. It is BY FAR my absolute top choice, and with my LSAT score, I am happy that they were even willing to look at my application and consider me
With one final left, I can only hope my GPA this semester is high enough...
I am RD btw.

No. small chance if you're ED by the end of december. gotta wait till Jan for the RD acceptances to start flowing in.lollipop555 wrote:Some good news today perchance? This silence has been eerie.

Also, since I'm here and curious, has anybody heard back about deferrals yet?

Personally, I've been waiting for my deferral since the start of the week. I'm starting to wonder what could've happened to it.

About the fall grades request for ED: Does this mean that the ultimate decision will be delayed to an RD timeframe...? Or would one still find out early-ish in January? Thanks.

Re: Columbia c/o 2016 Applicants (2012-2013)
Why are you expecting a deferral? Based on the ED acceptances thus far, I'd say you've got strong numbers. I, on the other hand, am getting concerned. This cycle seems to be placing more weight on GPA. The last I've heard from CLS was acknowledgment last week of an update I submitted during the first week of December... I'm not expecting a decision from them until the end of the month.Elahrairah wrote:
