Beautiful. I can see hoards of TLS posters showing up at the admissions office dressed like Spartans and since it's Berkeley, it probably wouldn't even phase anyone

Out of curiosity, did your status checker change at all before receiving the call? Or did it only change afterwards?
Mine still says "under review" but I got the call last week. I think they're just slow? Let's hope we don't need to find out if verbal agreements are binding in the state of California...

I got admitted via email as well!

Totally unexpected. Made my day! (and perhaps my week!!)

I cannot wait to travel to San Francisco to visit the school.

I got a call from Dean Tom 11/20 and just received the official email! I guess this means I wasn't dreaming...

Congratulations to the new admits! Enjoy the excitement for getting into an incredible community.

I was wondering, and perhaps somebody could help me figure.. In what ways is an URM's application seen differently than a non-URM's one?

Just got the official email so I guess theyre rolling them all out now :) Submitted 11/7, UR 11/21, Accepted 12/3.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at admitted students weekend!

Admitted via email today. I never got a phone call, so I was starting to get worried. Needless to say, feeling MUCH better now.

Got the email!! so happy. submitted first week of Nov. Went under review 11/21. 169/3.96 MA. Berk is my dream!
