Any opinions on the Phoenix South properties? I'm not extremely picky.. proximity to bars, other students, and the law school are the most important factors for my living situation. I'd like to be at the center of both the academic and social aspects of law school.
Any other gators making the move to FSU?

Also.. if you know of any law students who currently live at collegewood.. tell them to contact me via TLS so that they can "refer" me and get the $50.

I lived at Florida Towers (another Phoenix property) my last year of undergrad. It was ok, obviously they are not the nicest newest places but it was fine. We didn't get our deposit back which sucked but other than that I liked living there. You get in free to potbellies if you tell them you live in Collegewood, Florida Towers, etc. Its Pot's way of appeasing the residents from all the noise they make though I never really heard any noise. Its also a 5 min walk to the Strip.

Went on a visit yesterday! Pretty nice. Except for the library. I think my elementary school library is bigger.

I heard that if you're accepted they give you a phone call? I'm not sure if they do this for everyone but if true and we dont get a phone call I guess its a denial or waitlist?

hahaha yeah but who knows maybe they dont call everyone, that would be pretty tough.... at least were finding out soon either way

Yeah, I'm trying to stay positive about my wait-lists as well, it sucks....

So the status checker lets you know if you're wait-listed?

Yeah the e-mail notified me first. I'm going to stay on it, but I'm deposited at a school that I'm very happy to attend.

Hey is anyone familiar with the stipulations for scholarships. It does not seem to be based on a class rank like other schools? Also what is the typical stipulation for FSU?

Waitlisted via email just a shade under six months after I went complete (10/24/11). FSU was the last school I was waiting to hear from, but I've already moved to Knoxville, my wife took a job with UT, and we went house hunting this afternoon so you might say I was already leaning toward Tennessee. Congratulations to all those who made it and condolences to those who didn't. Best of luck to everyone, especially those still deciding where they'll be for the next 3 years.

Fairly certain this means either a waitlist or a rejection, since I'm fairly certain you get a phone call if you've been accepted. Oh well... Anyone else get this status today?

I have the same status.. I'm assuming its a rejection because it seems like a few people here that were WL'ed got e-mails. who knows though hopefully not!

I highly doubt they'll be calling admitted students simply because it would be too arduous at this point. They haven't admitted anyone for months.
