Did anyone else get an email from a professor at U of H today? It seemed somewhat personalized.

ETA: Now that I think about it, I think there was something in the application to check if you wanted to be contacted by a professor or student upon acceptance.

I have not received anything from them. I'm almost certain I said it was ok to be contacted by a professor or student.

Ugh. Why must UH deny me things such as scholarships and e-mails from professor/students!

Has anybody gotten anything in the mail about the ASD 3/30? I thought I saw something on the status checker about it but I didn't know if it meant the email or something else

Not that I know of - although I havent checked the mail in a couple of days. I got an email about it and RSVP'ed. They responded a day or so later saying that they put me on the list and that they would be sending more info by e-mail when it gets closer.mtyler19 wrote:Has anybody gotten anything in the mail about the ASD 3/30? Sent my a LOCI in yesterday (UR since 1/21), I informed them that they were one of my top choices despite a fully scholly to Cardozo and an acceptance from Boston and Davis. If they don't reply soon I'm gonna go punch the statue in the court yard.

I'll be there as well. Anybody know if we are actually supposed to "study" for the mock class?

Hey all,
I've read through most of the posts from this years round of applications and didn't see too many part-timers. I was wondering how many of you applied part time, and whether or not you had heard anything back, acceptance or scholarship-wise.
I applied pretty late in the game, March 4th, but part time applications don't close until May, so maybe its not that late. Most other schools close before that, but this was the only school I applied to.
So, part-timers!
1) When did you submit your application?
2) What are your stats? (162/3.5 here)
3) What is your application status?
4) What have you heard regarding funding?
I don't even know if they like to give scholarships to part-timers, but I like to hope so!
Thanks

I didn't get to drive through the Heights last time I was in Houston but I did visit Montrose which is next to that area. If I don't live in the Calhoun lofts I think I will def. live in Montrose.
I like Midtown but its too expensive- at least doing online apartment looking.

My application status has been in review since 2/10, then changed to 3/8, and just updated to 3/20. Maybe I'll get a decision this Friday? Hope so

Mine finally updated 3/21. Maybe to little to late though.
