I went complete 11/9 and I've been under review since the 11/10. I'm 99% sure I'll be waitlisted or rejected, but meh.
I'm RD. Are you RD?
Yeah, RD. Who knows, maybe I'll get in the first batch they look at or something and somehow get accepted. But realistically, not happening.

171/3.53. According to the last few years on LSN I'm almost certainly gonna be waitlisted, but maybe I'll get lucky if they're freaking out about the big drop in LSAT takers.

Last years thread says status checkers changed to Decision Mailed or something like that--but not before the first week of Dec so you can probably stop checking until then!

Anyone (perhaps current NYU students) know when NYU's deposit deadline is from last year?
It only says people will get their decisions by "Late April" on their website.

I submitted on Halloween, and I did RD, though in hindsight I'm kind of regretting not going ED.

Just so you know, they only update status checkers once a week. I've been complete for about a week (found out by calling) even though my checker has yet to update.

ED, wbu? I'm worried that with my numbers, despite going UR really quickly, I won't hear back till the end of December

It might be that when your personal life was not in shambles, you were thinking more rationally. I say this because I think you'll get in no problem. Just wait it out for a month or two and you'll see =D

Whether it was intended to be or not, that's so nice! and quite reassuring actually. thanks!

You'll be fine, they do them in waves and aren't always reflective of your actual application status. Don't stress, you'll do well

Anyone have any knowledge, anecdotal or LSN based, of how NYU deals with reverse splitting within their percentile ranges?
I'm at their 25th percentile for LSAT and near their 75th percentile for GPA... nervous... :\
edit: just asking because based on what I've heard, Columbia is kind of strict on the LSAT and I'm in the same position there (at 25th percentile LSAT, above 75th percentile GPA), and I was wondering if NYU was known to be similar...

Not entirely sure, but just run through the data on LSN to see. Shouldn't take too long.
