What has been the length of your LOCIs? I know the standard is 1 page, but have people gone over? It's hard to keep it to one page given the business letter format (the addresses up top take up so much space).

I would keep it to one page unless you have lots of really good, meaningful things to say. If you make it too long, you run the risk that they won't read it. Plus running a quarter or a third onto a second page looks a little sloppy.

I remember the hold e-mail saying that anything sent to them should be signed and done by snail-mail. Should we send an additional LOR to them or do it through LSAC?

Good luck everyone!

I was skimming the earlier pages of this thread and saw some talk of waitlists. Just to double-check, no one this cycle has been waitilisted, right?

Not that I know of.

Also, I was looking at LSN and it seems that many of us will hear from Harvard around mid- to late-April.
Fantastic...

But that doesn't mean that a JR1 won't pop up at any moment!

Finally checking in here, been waiting for the hold email I got this morning for a long time (complete early December). Wish I had written a LOCI in anticipation of the hold like I thought about, just didn't want to jinx it. Ah, well...

Anyone want to take a look at the LOCI I just drafted up? Willing to swap of course. I've never done something like this before, so not really sure how to do a good job beyond the guidelines and tips offered in the TLS LOCI article.

PMed. Any other eyes willing to check it out as well (shamelessly seeking double help...)?
