Did anybody get an acceptance packet without the status checker indicating something had been mailed?

I'm getting really antsy over here.

I got the 20k/ year scholly

checker didn't show it came with acceptance package. 160, 3.78

Just an FYI. I've been told by admissions that the max non-resident scholarship they are giving is $20k/yr. The $25k/yr schollys are only going to in staters.

Those that already received their admission packages, is there any information on travelling stipends etc. included?

Email admissions, last year they gave some travel stipends to students traveling to the Admitted Students Open House. I can't remember exactly what they gave, but I think it was at least $200 to be credited back to you after you send in your receipts, etc.

Thanks so much for the answer. Will definitely email admissions. I have to fly in from the West Coast, so $200 would definitely help.

I got admitted 1/14 but according to my status checker my package has not even been mailed yet.

Well Penn State just landed itself near the top of my list. $30,000 over 3 years contingent upon being in the top half of the class.

Is anyone else annoyed that Penn State requires you to put your parents info on the FASFA? I am on my second marriage, and yes I am not yet 30 years old. Do they really think that my parents are contributing to my life, financially, in any way?

Thanks! Yes, I am a PA resident and it is 10,000 per academic year.
