I'm glad I'm not the only person who applied EA who's still processing.
Sorry to everyone who got deferred today.

16% Asian population. Maybe they get tons of Asian people applying lololol.
Yes I am Asian. 16% is pretty low...

That 16% was actually for undergrad, my bad.
I have no clue what law school asian % for Cornell is but I expect it to be much less than 16%?

Haha! From personal experience it is not depressing at all. Ithaca is Gorgeous (or Gorges as the saying goes)!

Cornell ended my lucky streak a few minutes ago with a deferral... i was having a banner year until then; 165/3.92 in at Michigan and GULC... I'm afraid my luck has run out

I really feel like the category "Asian" on law applications is too broad. I'm half Pakistani, and I had to mark "Asian" for my ethnicity on all my applications, though I've never referred to myself as Asian in my entire life. (Yet Russia is considered "Caucasian" though it is also part of Asia.)
Anyway, I agree that a 16% Asian population sounds low, since "Asian" is a term that includes ~62% of the world's population lol.

It's 16% from last year's data. 10% of males, 21% of females

. So as a male I am quite under represented lol.

Don't worry, don't take Cornell as any indication of your cycle.

Now I'm worried. 1 CCN number deferral - maybe bad luck. Two? YP or crazy attempt to become holistic?!?!

Has to be YP, I'm thinking. Why admit them EA if they'll go elsewhere more appealing than Ithaca?

Yes I was. Too lazy to quote, my bad. I applied to GULC around the same time as you. I hope I'll hear back soon! I haven't heard from anywhere yet. Are you guys getting emails or just checking the status checker obsessively?

Might be. It is a bit peculiar that Cornell's median and 75th LSAT are 168. Hard to say if thats yp or higher LSATs not wanting to go to Ithica though.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
