Oh, my god, I picked the wrong day to leave my cell phone at home.

I have a meeting at 3:30 but I'm taking a bus home just to see... I am not being presumptuous, I am just acknowledging that I won't be able to do anything with knowledge that there is a possibility =/= 0 that UT called.

Hah, and of course they didn't. Ah well. I'm still thinking I'll get held with my numbers.

Almost everyone on LSN with a 3.7/167 got in last year!

I couldn't find the info on TLS so confirmed what "good standing" means for UT scholarships: stay above a 2.0, no Fs in any course. Seems generous.

ya it's not really helpful. i was admitted wednesday, and this morning it changed to admitted. before it said something like "currently being reviewed for early decision"

and i still haven't received the letter, maybe today?

also, i think this was asked earlier, but what do you think UT considers "peer schools" for scholly matching? would they go as low as washu? USC?

I received my scholarship info yesterday, got accepted last Friday and received that letter Saturday. I live in Alabama, if that helps.

Dinged via status checker. Date on the checker is 11/16, but I only noticed it today. Not the best way to start my cycle, but with a 3.4x 170 it's not unprecedented.

I think UT views itself as on the rise. So, I would say the peer schools are Vandy, USC, UCLA, and the lower T14. However, you should send in all your scholarship offers for the matching. Let them decide which schools are peers.

I've been lurking on here for a while, but finally I have an acceptance to report. Just got the call from Dean Ingram - I'm in! So excited! No mention of scholarship money though.
