Congratulations to all that got in today! I got the email about the $200 stipend as well. I've been to St. Louis a couple times for business, but never went out towards WUSTL, so I plan on taking advantage of the opportunity. I hope to meet some of you on a visit!

(I just noticed the first Admitted Students Day is on my birthday, so I hope to get many free drinks if that's when I go...)

lulz awesome! My birthday was two days ago, so this acceptance was a great belated bday present!

Congrats to everyone who got in. I hope to meet many of you at one of the ASD's. I've been to STL many times and really like it, I think its a lot better than many people make it out to be.

What the heck WashU? I went complete 10/1 after applying 9/29 and I haven't moved!!! Is there anyone else thats been waiting this long? How have people who applied in Nov gotten decisions and mine hasn't been looked at yet!?

Don't get me wrong, congrats to all those who got in! I just can't figure out how they're doing this review process?

My birthday present was taking the LSAT on my birthday in October, so now I could really use some acceptances to make up for it!

Hmm I seem to see people submitting later and with both better and worse combinations of numbers than me getting in.
Submitted 11/04, Complete 11/15, UR 12/2, with a 172/3.7x...

Numbers? If you have <168, I think they're waiting much longer to send out those responses in the hopes of raising their median to 168 from 167. Which isn't to say that you still won't get in, by the definition of a median.
Thanks Sean, that would be a good answer, I'm a 164. This school is my biggest stretch.

Might be yield concerns with you. Your numbers are extremely good -- at least 3/4 scholly territory. If you really want to come to WUSTL, I'd write them a letter of interest if you don't hear from them by January.

Oy, well better that than being WL not for yield, I guess. I wasn't too aware that WUSTL was one of the yield protecting schools, though I guess anything can change. Hopefully there'll be another batch of acceptances for the 12/2ers...

They really don't YP that I'm aware of, but people who they think have a good chance of attending are probably at the top of the stack when it comes to who gets accepted first.

In review since 11/10. I feel the frustration. And I have a 173 so I'm at a loss.

Ironic! I almost went to UCSD because I used to spend my summers at camp in SD (FL native), but I decided I wanted to try LA. I hope that my acceptance bodes well for you too!

...and GUHHH to taking the LSAT on your birthday- brutal. Epic celebration afterward though, I bet!

So I was just browsing the forum archives looking at old WUSTL threads. Apparently in 2008 they sent out emails to a bunch of people saying they got full rides and then about 20 minutes later emailed back and said it was a mistake. I would be so pissed lol

Haha what a tease. I would hope they wouldn't have sent that to anybody who wasn't getting any aid at all.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
