I am convinced these status checkers are overrated in terms of importance everywhere. I believe that if you are updated to a particular day, it is because somebody else is reading your application. But just because you haven't been changed in a month does not mean your app is just sitting there. I think a lot of the time it's a prospect of whether or not they get around to changing your status checker.

After some thinking, I decided I would probably not get accepted at UCLA/USC because what I want to do (IP/tech) does not fit their profiles very well and they probably would not waste an acceptance on me. My application is super focused so maybe that's why Berk liked it but others are holding.

i don't know. a lot of people with great numbers at UCLA haven't been called yet, and USC has barely accepted anyone (only a few DF)--- i feel like it's still early.

No need to be scared. If your numbers are good, you should be fine.

Just check out LSN if you are feeling down on your chances, and I'm sure you will cheer up.

I'd agree if it weren't for my status reading "decision finalized" for the past week. Like, USC's admissions committee members know the decision, they might as well share it because keeping it a secret isn't beneficial to anyone. Unless it's an acceptance and Dean Reid has been out-of-town and can't make calls or something. Then I'd be happy
