I received a call at 11:30 a.m CST. The admissions lady was one of the nicest human beings around. I'll definitely be attending their ASW.

Yep. Just a couple hours ago. I forgot the lady's name. She worked in admissions I believe. I'm sure I could look it up and find it. I was kind of in a frazzle: I had missed the first phone call earlier this morning and then called back and left a message.

The phone rang a couple minutes later and when I saw the Berkeley area code I ran to the sink to spit out the thanksgiving buckeye (chocolate sweet) I had just swallowed. Pretty amusing incident. We talked for five minutes or so and like I said it was a fantastic conversation.

I got the call today too! At 1 pm EST!!! so excited. She was extremely nice on the phone, and said they will be mailing packets later in December.

No worries mate! I wish the best for you and I wouldn't lose hope yet! Who knows what admission committees are thinking. I say just live your life and wish for the best!

Does anyone have a slightest idea how long it will take for them to reach a decision or some sort?

I just wanted to say, all of the applicants in here are so nice and have such positive attitudes, it's pretty awesome

And looking at LSN last year, there might be a lot of acceptances going out mid december. Hopefully we all hear then And congrats to everyone who got in already!

mine changed to admitted! (with the exclamation mark, kinda cute) a little before midnight 11/23. i spoke to dean tom around 1 or 2 pm 11/23 too. so the status change doesn't necessarily precede the call! (or vice versa, w/e)
