Could've rescheduled. Congrats though on getting the JR1, I understand why you didn't want to reschedule. When did you get the e-mail? It seems they still love the high GPAs, so conrats again.gerghk wrote:o man, JR1 at 9am EST tomorrow... guess he forgot I live in Cali :-/

yea it was past 5 EST by the time I saw the email, it was sent sometime yesterday morning. Man I could NOT sleep at all last night, here I was trying to go to bed early at 10:30 last night, tossed and turned ALL night just nervous as hell pondering the possibilities.
well just got off the phone with JR 5 minutes ago, I'm in!
and now two EE/CS finals in 24 hours....

It looks like on LSN there are a few waitlisted applicants who were rejected. I guess with the summer winding down, they are starting to trim the waitlist. I guess they dont need hundreds of people on the waitlist when they probably are close to filling the class. Anyone get a waitlist reject notification? I'm still praying and hanging in there...

Where do you see rejected WLed applicants? I see WL/A save for one reject on May 5.MeredithGrey wrote:It looks like on LSN there are a few waitlisted applicants who were rejected. I think those have been there for awhile and the consensus was that they're not actual WL rejects but maybe hold rejects.

Yep, that is what I got out of it... *In the past they wait until the end of July then purge most of the WL.*cboo wrote:I think those have been there for awhile and the consensus was that they're not actual WL rejects but maybe hold rejects.
Anyone withdraw from the WL or are we all just sitting on it?

Yea, just sitting on waiting. That's what you are supposed to do on the waitlist right? What could realistically happen at this point that would open up spots?

Maybe a member of the class could get deported like this undergraduateDtackpat75 wrote:Yea, just sitting on waiting. That's what you are supposed to do on the waitlist right? What could realistically happen at this point that would open up spots?

Or you could PM members of the class of 2013 on TLS and try to dissuade them from attending law school.

So is it safe to assume that the waitlist is more or less over, and the class of 2013 is stable? It seems like the last acceptance was a few weeks back.

Which one? I'm trying to decide which would be worse. Force yourself to withdraw? Easy, realize your chances are next to zero and let H know thanks, but no thanks. Have fun at Duke? Well, you applied there (whereas I did not) and then you deposited there, so something must've appealed to you, shouldn't be too hard. Give me your name and LSAC and I'll take care of the first bit for you.someones alt wrote:I wish I could force myself to do that

Re: Harvard Waitlist 2010
Is that relevant? I like DC, I was high on GULC's GLS program, and I had no idea where I would actually get in. I would've liked Georgetown, I just don't think the opportunities are on par with those at Chicago. All my comment about you applying to Duke was meant to say was that you must've liked it enough to apply and then deposit, so I'm confused.someones alt wrote:tbf you did apply to georgetownswampthang wrote:Which one? Congrats!
A question for nobody in particular -- if I wanted to withdraw at some point, just to be able to say I wasn't rejected by Harvard, when should I do that by? And does e-mail suffice?
