Hey, not to be a skeptic or "debbie downer" but I was wondering what the source for this March 1 rumor was?

UNC, even as an OOS, is becoming my number 1 choice right now which has caused me to be on edge for the past few weeks. If this is just something that has taken on an internet "truthiness" to it I would want to know for my sanity.

This is what Dean States stated at an open house event last month. He promised May 1st, but said that his office is trying very hard to get an answer out by March 1st.

May first would be sooooo late. all of my other schools first seat deposits are due by then

Not to mention that many of us need to figure out where we are going to be so we can secure housing, enroll our children in schools, etc. etc. :-/

I don't know. I just called and asked about my application and the guy said there was no decision and most of them wouldn't be made until March, if not later. For everyone saying how mean the admissions people were they were actually really nice to me. Commmmeee on Carolina.

+1. I want to get excited about a law school (which I'm admitted to). I'm just in the "sigh, ok, maybe there" mode. A UNC e-mail would solve all that.

Completely agree!! I have to claim my scholarship at UGA by April 1st, which means committing to go there. I would seriously kick myself in the ass if I did that and then got into UNC later. I work at a building just a few yards from the law school, and some days I just want to walk over there and give them all some red bulls and tell them to hurry it up! (That's really the nicer version of what I want to do somedays, lol).

Me too! My dad calls me everyday wanting to know where I've heard from and what hat he's going to be getting come fall. I actually think he's going through almost as much pressure and frustration as I am!

To be fair, the numbers are from Season 1. But it is noted that no Lost spoilers are allowed on this thread.

Anyone like "It's always sunny in Philadelphia"? I'm wondering why I allowed myself to go 5 seasons before finally getting into it!
