Just got an email putting me on preferred wait list. Do I have to send a LOCI? The email doesn't say to respond if still interested...

Think like dating. It means less if you have to be told to say something nice.boss wrote:Just got an email putting me on preferred wait list. Do I have to send a LOCI? The email doesn't say to respond if still interested...

It'd be easier to say nice things if the girl didn't put me on a waitlist :pNayBoer wrote:Think like dating. I just got put in the "special group" of the preferred waitlist. It sounds pretty promising and Im glad I had an interview to give gtown more than numbers. Now just crossing my fingers (and writing a LOCI).App925 wrote:167, 3.8, non-URM. Interviewed on 12/3, back to UR on 12/7. FT RD.

Finally got a response from my interviewer. Scheduled for next week. What is proper attire for one of these? (its in her office).

Good luck! Mine's not until Monday. Look on the brightside, the phone interview allows you to have a cheat sheet with questions to ask and such.texasgirl22 wrote:i have a phone interview tomorrow night, 168/3.84. i wish mine were in person though...anyone have theirs on the phone?

Do they request interviews for PT applicants as well?

Re: GULC 2010: Interviews
good luck! I had mine on the phone, which wasn't my first choice but seemed like it would be easier to schedule. It ended up going really well, just a very unstructured and friendly conversation. Lots of time to ask questions and I didn't feel like I was under pressure. Lasted exactly 30 min and i went to Under Review the next day.texasgirl22 wrote:i have a phone interview tomorrow night, 168/3.84. i wish mine were in person though...anyone have theirs on the phone?

Did anyone in the NYC area wait for a long time to hear back from an alum? Or was it quick? (Feel free to PM me if you'd rather not give away your location.)

Re: GULC 2010: Interviews
After a 12/7 interview, I've been UR since 12/8. I think the interview went very well. I didn't get waitlisted (priority or regular) today. Should I feel good about my acceptance chances?
Edit to note that I'm a huge splitter. And to put the correct dates.

Slimpee - I thought it went really well (in fact the interviewer said as much), but my LSAT is well below the median even for Part Time, so we will see!Slimpee wrote:Thanks! Re: GULC 2010: Interviews
dear tls, please let me know whether or not i have shot myself in the foot with georgetown . . .
i received a request for an interview on 11/19. this was two days after mr. georgetown head-honcho did group interviews at my uni, so i met him there and apparently he remembers people, takes notes, etc. (not that i said anything brilliant). i think this might have somewhat affected their decision to interview me, since i am below 25th lsat, although above 75th gpa. anyway, i waited three weeks and heard nothing from an interviewer. i then emailed the office to let them know, and they said they would find me a new interviewer (this is in nyc). i got an email from my new interviewer on tuesday, but because it's so close to the holiday break, i won't be able to interview until i get back from winter vacation. i'm literally working at one of my jobs from 8:00am to 11:00pm through finals week, so seeing her now would be impossible. anyway, by the time i interview, it will have literally been over two months since the request. my biggest concern is that i'm such a low lsat that they were just humoring themselves with me, just in case. but by the time i interview, the january scores will be in, along with a huge bundle of very average applicants, just like me. did this kill me? should i email miss g'town back and try to squeeze something in for this monday? too late notice?

Re: GULC 2010: Interviews
I suppose I'm a little late to the party, but I received an email yesterday requesting an interview as well. I work in DC though, so hopefully that gets scheduled quickly. In case anyone's interested, 171, 3.5 non-URM.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
