Re: In at Kentucky!
After I received an email and my status changed to decision rendered my requirements list changed on the status checker. It now has a list with first tuition deposit received and second tuition deposit received.

I don't think it is the best sign. On the other hand, maybe the office staff has not gotten around to it yet. Good Luck!

What does this mean...
I really hate to be the bearer of bad news. It means we're rejected. From what I've heard from a few of my peeps, I don't think there were any waitlists sent out. I'm right there in the same boat with you. (We just need to retake the LSAT so we don't have to beg shitty schools, with outdated facilities, for acceptance.)

Me again. Rejection letter. Not really surprised, as I put it down as a reach.

Re: In at Kentucky!
sorry to those who didn't make it in. I was in via e-mail earlier today. Submitted less than two weeks ago. This is my first acceptance so naturally it's pretty exciting. Still waiting to see what the other schools say, but I like UKentucky a lot (it was one of my targets). Would love to chat with some other potential Fall 2010 students.

Got the acceptance email yesterday. Now waiting on word about a scholarship. I'm pretty much at median so I'm not expecting much, if any at all.

I received scholarship offer in the mail yesterday, 11K per year that knocks tuition down to the in-state rate for me. UK has officially moved toward the top of my list.

Keep the faith... you'll find a school that is perfect for you. Maybe you can reapply next year if you really want? Wishing you better news ASAP.ochrymb wrote:rejected...i am so lost.

This minus the top of the list part. Probably will hold the offer for a bit though.bruffin wrote:I received scholarship offer in the mail yesterday, 11K per year that knocks tuition down to the in-state rate for me. UK has officially moved toward the top of my list.

Same here, and I could see myself going to UK on the cheap for a year, then trying to transfer out

So I sent in my app last weekend and was curious about all of you who got accepted and your stats...with a 3.9/160, what are my chances?
Not going to lie, I've been a huge UK fan my whole life and UK skyrocketed up my desired list last spring when we hired Calipari. haha. Ridiculous.

pretzel logic
i got in with in state tuition with a 3.4 and 165. you'll definitely be in. according to the schools website, anybody with a 159+ and a decent gpa (and yours is above that) is in.
i'm still waiting to hear back from a lot of schools but UK is starting to sound really good. im trying to go visit during my spring break next month. anybody else sure they are going to this school?

Re: In at Kentucky!
So my status changed to Decision Rendered around 5pm today (I checked it at like 4 and it was still under review) and I haven't received an email... While it's only been 30 min or so since then, this is still bad news right? or is there a delay between status checker and email? I am very borderline (166/2.51) any thoughts?

I really hope I'm not the bearer of bad tidings, but I got in via e-mail this afternoon (sent around 6 or so). Not sure exactly what time it happened, but my status changed today to "Decision Rendered" as well.
To the people who were offered in-state, did you acceptance e-mail mention this or did you find out in later correspondence?

It came the next week...making UK very affordable and increasing my interest compared to the sticker price at other law schoolsbuckmulligan58 wrote:I really hope I'm not the bearer of bad tidings, but I got in via e-mail this afternoon (sent around 6 or so).
