Quick question- I applied on 12/08, and got the status checker email. My status still says "waiting for CAS report". How long did some of you find it took to go complete with UW? Thanks in advance.

It took me three days from when I submitted and received confirmation to when I went complete. I did send them an email letting them know the date that the Dean's Certification had been mailed from my undergrad (several weeks prior to my application actually being submitted). They replied that same afternoon saying everything was in and my status checker was updated to "Ready for Review" or something like that.

Glad there is one of these for U-Dub :D Took some looking to find though.
So question for those who have applied - does "Ready for Review" on status checker mean I'm complete including form B? I applied not too long ago and got the standard email that they had received my application, but it didn't mention anything about form B having been received. My UG should have sent it in last month, but I'm just a little worried because I never got any confirmation from my UG or UW about it.
Also seems like the terminology for "complete" varies from school to school and was just wondering if "ready for review" is their way of saying I'm complete including form B and, well, ready for review.
I'm pretty sure that means they have everything. If I remember correctly, I think they have a status checker where you can confirm that. Send an email and ask if you are really unsure.

I just applied! UW is my top choice (though a bit of a stretch with my LSAT). Has anyone heard anything yet?

They typically don't start reviewing until around now or after the New Year, so I doubt anyone has heard anything.

Thanks! You, too. I think it will still be a couple weeks until they start rolling out decisions but we'll see.

And Happy New Year to all of TLS!

Finally went ready for review at the start of the break. My school took a while to decide what agency was going to fill out form b, it was kinda frustrating.

My form b just went through today, thank god. Does anyone know to what extent UW uses rolling admissions? They're site says that they don't review until after the deadline, but they do so in order of apps completed. What should I make of that?

That they only start looking at apps on Jan 15, but when they start they do so in order of completion. However, looking at last year's stats on LSN it seems like early to mid-February is when most decisions start rolling out.

No change to anyone's status recently? Mine still shows under review as of 12/4/09. I'm getting antsy.

As a side note, I'm applying to the joint JD/MPP program and haven't submitted the MPP application yet (it's due this Friday, so I should probably get on that! soooo burnt out on apps right now, though). I know you have to apply to each program separately, but does anyone know if they hold off on making a decision until both applications are complete/under review?

No change for almost a month... "Ready for Review as of 12/16". Still there. I went to visit and talked to a student ambassador in October. He said they take a pretty healthy amount of time in reviewing applications. No idea about the joint programs...

Form B is on the way, application complete just last week. It's going to be awhile I know, but I'm happy to have found this thread. Here's hoping!

Thanks for the reply. I think last year it wasn't until late January or early February that decisions started coming out, so I should learn patience. I don't know if it's a good sign or not that I went under review so early.

they have around 800 applications now that are complete and ready for review and 200 more that are being reviewed, so be patient.  It may take a while

Looking at last year, some people sent theirs out on the deadline and received a response fairly quickly.

http://washington.lawschoolnumbers.com/applicants/0809/

Ex) newcritic sent his/her out 1/16 and received an acceptance on 2/03.
Ex) perhapslaw sent his/her out 1/13 and received an acceptance on 2/02.

I won't be sending my out until the last minute because my LORs are taking forever. Hopefully I get a quick response though.

Did you spend any time in "Ready for Review" purgatory? Been there since 12/16...

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
