Re: Kansas 2013
Was admitted sometime in mid-November, I suspect this is part of the first batch of mailouts for financial aid.
Unless something nutty happens and I completely kick the LSAT's butt next Saturday, I'm going to happily take Wake Forest up on their full scholarship offer.

Congrats!! I'm praying and crossing my fingers that I'll get some. Got a nearly full-ride to Washburn, trying to decide what to do because I really really really want to go to KU but it will be hard to if I don't get any $$$moe wrote:i got scholly info today as well. free money... wassup!!!

Don't you already have a pretty high LSAT?? Good luck on Saturday!KansasSplitter wrote:Was admitted sometime in mid-November, I suspect this is part of the first batch of mailouts for financial aid.

KU gave me 12K for first year (2.5 pending) and 5K for 2nd year, they're really becoming a serious player in my decision. Thanks Kansas!

Wow..that is awesome...congrats! If I got that sort of money, my choice would be easy. How long did it take them to send you notification about scholarships?jeeptiger09 wrote:KU gave me 12K for first year (2.5 pending) and 5K for 2nd year, they're really becoming a serious player in my decision. My decision letter was sent two weeks before my scholarship letter was sent, but the decision letter said it can take a while. Hope that helps!

I got wait listed at Kansas. I like the school and would like to go there but it would not kill me if I did not get in as I've gotten accepted to LSU and Miami as well as others, still waiting on quite a few. You guys have a great basketball team.

I am taking the LSAT on Saturday, and have been getting PT scores of around 160-165. I am going to apply with this score, Does anyone know someone that got accepted with their Feb score, and what their scores were?

Re: Kansas 2013
Okay, so, I've been in review since... 1/24. Now, in my crazy head, that's like an eternity. But, is it? I need some sane advice here. Kansas is high on my list, and I'm getting paranoid. It kind of seemed to me (judging by some of the other posts) that they review fairly quickly. Think there's cause to worry? My stats are pretty much at their median, so I don't think that helps my paranoia.

Oy! I know no one responded but I'm posting anyway. They asked for additional information today, same letter someone else got that posted... I REALLY hope that is a good sign!

I got the additional information email and then got in about two weeks after I responded. Good luck!

+1 what numbers got you a full ride to Wake? If they threw one at me I might bite if Emory doesn´t come correct.legallyblonde13 wrote:Don't you already have a pretty high LSAT?? Re: Kansas 2013
That is definitely encouraging! Though I just went back over what I sent (I proofread it fifty times) and realized I forgot two apostrophes. Oof, I feel like such a doofus! I hope that doesn't kill my chances. I actually do know how to use punctuation. Sometimes, apparently.jeeptiger09 wrote:I got the additional information email and then got in about two weeks after I responded. Good luck!

Are acceptances in large or small envelopes? Anticipation is killing me.

So wait, I've been in review on 1/24, and under review again on 2/5. But I noticed there are now seat deposits lines under fees, and I wanted to know if that was kind of any indication. I didn't see it before, but I also don't want to get my hopes up. Thanks!

Re: Kansas 2013
From what I've gathered from this thread, that seems pretty normal. I could be wrong though! I have them, and it seems like many people that have posted previously had them too. (I currently have had no decision made on my application.) I haven't taken it as any type of indication. I don't know if that helps! Good luck!loxNbegels09 wrote:So wait, I've been in review on 1/24, and under review again on 2/5. Just got my application turned in... late in the game, but it's a school I've been interested in for quite some time... What has turnaround time looked like for everyone?

Is it bad (or good) that they're taking forever to make a decision? I've been under review for 3 separate dates! It's agonizing!
