Why so? I will be making a personal visit up in mid-March and am interested to hear your opinions.
Beautiful campus, well funded facilities, very friendly staff. I did my undergrad at UR.
Good to hear. The only thing I am worried about is the job placement rates before graduation.
They claim their job placement rates actually went up in the last year. And if youre interested in staying in D.C./ Virginia then you'll probably be fine.

In via a very nice phone call. Definitely would be giving them strong consideration if I didn't make it into my main target.
Withdrawing shortly; good luck all!

didn't know much about richmond until i got a fee waiver. applied. have been researching like crazy since acceptance and it's fast becoming one of my top choices (outside canada).

I think the best thing you could do is to call Dean Rahman and ask her, she is very nice and very helpful.

UofR experience is not really well documented here (maybe most UofR law students do not do their homework?). Possibly you should be our guinea pig.

I would highly recommend trying this at UR.

Just kidding, guys, I was trying to say that there are a bunch of threads and posts about other schools (e.g. Seton Hall) but very few on UofR. So I guess UofR applicants do not peruse these boards a lot, meaning they do not evaluate cost -benefit of going to school like UofR before matriculating.

Got my waitlist letter too. I KNEW I should have applied to more places! Oh well, part of me is relieved in a weird way. Dissappointed to be sure, but oddly relieved that the next three years of my life might be a bit more relaxed. Or am I just telling myself that?

Is there a difference in the letter between priority and regular wait list?

Hey APHill, so you have to peruse TLS to evaluate the cost benefit value of a school?
That statement doesnt make much sense - a small percentage of law school applicants in general make it to TLS. And a smaller percentage of people actually post on TLS.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
