AHH. I had to leave my house early today for a meeting. Now I just want to skip the rest of the day and go home to camp by the mailbox.

So you had Decision Mailed as of 11/5?

Edit, because Decision Mailed is very different from Completed.

I'm jumping on this thread. Haven't interviewed yet but I've been complete since 9/17.

Good luck, crackberry. Not that you really need it given your track record so far.

How did you learn from UCLA, btw. Snail mail?

Edit: Nevermind, if I scrolled down a little further on LSN I would have saw it was by snail mail. Good luck on the rest of your cycle.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Huge snail mail packet from UCLA.

I think the interview could be the difference. I didn't submit until late Oct., but I interviewed before applying, and now I'm at "decision rendered." Unless my interview was so terrible that the second I applied they knew I was out

Yeah I'm sure they're just holding my file for my interview. I'm not worried about that. My interview is on Thursday anyway.

Alright, just got home and saw a giant box waiting for me on my kitchen table. I was so excited to open it up and was expecting to find a giant piece of wood with the words FAIL written across it. Instead, I got in. Can Vandy take back their mistake or is this now binding on them?

Off to tell the wife and folks.

Congrats, sir! Hopefully I'll be getting my [strike]big wooden FAIL[/strike] acceptance box soon, too.

Congrats to everyone who got in! Good luck to those who are still waiting!

On another note, I was VERY impressed with their big handbook on how to survive ls. It would be useful wherever you decide to go.

You could probably write a LOCI including that reason. But you should probably wait till they W/L you because you won't need to write it if you get in! :)

I think a legacy might be helpful if she had gone to law school there, undergrad not so much.

Thanks all. Sure I can put in a kind word for you. First I just need you to donate a sizable sum to your nearest Public Interest Law Fund, then we will talk.

And I agree with Apple Tree that the Class of 2013 handbook was quite cool. Been reading though it in class today instead of listening to lectures.

Did not submit the Law Merit Scholars Answers yet...I think the app said they're due sometime in January?

CONGRATS.

Yep. I am working on mine now.

BTW, everyone else should NOT submit for the Law Scholars Merit Awards. It is not worth your time. You don't want them. Just be happy with whatever merit aid they give you.

And I don't need the competition

Shouldn't those checks instead be made to you? ;) And sorry to say dude, I already submitted my scholarship essays. They just can't seem to figure out how to schedule my interview. :(

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
