I don't understand the pessimism... the LSAT is a standardized test. It is not like there are thousands of more people this cycle that got 165+. Only way that it gets "tougher" is if more people with better scores apply to BC and actually go there because of $$$ reasons, but then you have an underpopulated t14 that has to fill slots. Things will shake out the same as they always do.

I dunno. I saw a post that the September admin was up 18 percent. So say, cyclewide, there's a 10 percent increase -- that'd mean a 10 percent increase in 165+ scores as well, no?

Not trying to be overly pessimistic -- I have a 164, and I hope I get in. But the numbers are going to be tough.

Just because more people took it doesn't mean more people scored well.

I hope this doesn't become one of those big debates again.

+1, let's keep this thread about BC

Anyone think there is a chance of hearing EA before 12/15?

Hmm, I think we will have to wait until 12/15 (based on LSN)

I don't mind waiting. As long as I am waiting, I have a chance.

It is a STANDARDIZED test. The only way more people get a 165 is if there are thousands of more people that took the test. And this is assuming that only people with Sept 09 LSAT scores are applying. The cycle is the same as any other... just because schools are reporting an increase of apps at this time doesnt mean that more people are applying, it could just be that more people are applying earlier than they have been in the past.

Is it too late for me to apply Early Action? I didn't even submit my app yet but if it goes complete by Nov 23rd will I be considered EA?

No, I believe the deadline already passed for EA.

They clearly state that you must submit the application by Nov. 1st.

It doesn't hurt to email the admissions office and ask, but it seems pretty clear to me.
