I love watching and playing sports. I'm excited to explore the Carlisle area as well and pick up some new hobbies!pyramidenergy888 wrote:So what do you all like to do for fun?
I like to play poker and I like the outdoors. I will start a home poker game once school starts if there is interest. Gotta put that housing stipend to good use JKlol

My understanding from talking with recent graduates is that the whole OCI system is general is mostly non-existent at Dickinson. A close friend graduated there in 2015, and he was near tops of the class (read as top 5). He told me how amazed he was at the lack of interest in graduates. He ended up at one of the larger firms in Lancaster making about 70-80k now. His experience is actually one of the main reasons I am not considering Dickinson even though it my closest regional market.ceilingistheroof wrote:I've been wondering this as well. I also wonder if/how employment stats will change with a class size 2x larger than last year.bmathers wrote:Any guesses on our class size this year? I know they cap it at 75, but recently it's been more like 60. With all the money they are giving out this year, and seeing more activity on here with the school this year, I wouldn't be surprised with 70 students. Totally just a wild guess though.

I heard/was told that the incoming class is around the 75 student cut-off/max! Great to see that interest in the school appears to be up - I'm all moved-in and Carlisle will be just fine. A month till orientation, y'all

Make sure to go visit the Visitor Center at the Gettysburg Battlefield before classes start!
