Congrats to those accepted!! Did your status checkers ever change, or were they always blank? I got the email that I'm complete about two weeks ago, but my status checker is completely blank.

No change to the status checker at all. Mine is actually still blank. I went complete on October 4, so my turn around time was about 2 weeks.a.sch wrote:Congrats to those accepted!! I went complete on October 4th too... and submitted on the 1st. Hopefully this means a decision soon for me. Did they send you an email?stratton_oakmont wrote:No change to the status checker at all. Yes. I should get a letter from them in the mail soon with the official acceptance, financial aid info, and all that other good stuff.a.sch wrote:I went complete on October 4th too... and submitted on the 1st. I'm a recent graduate of W&M, lurking on TLS while waiting for the bar results. If you guys have any questions about W&M feel free to ask. Honestly you will be doing me a favor and distracting me from the painful waiting game I am in!

Got my official acceptance in the mail today (actually came yesterday but didn't have time to go pick it up) with a nice scholarship!

Anyone get a call from a WM student asking if you had any questions for them?

My admissions packet got sent home and I won't be able to open it until next week on break. Does anyone know around how long you have until you need to do the statement of intention? I don't want to miss the deadline. Thank you!

Also accepted this morning via email! First acceptance of the cycle, so it's good to know there isn't anything seriously wrong with my application... Really like W&M when I had to chance to visit last Spring with my school's pre-law program.

I got an email that I went complete on 10/4, and my status checker has no other information. Should I be concerned since everyone seems to be getting in so quickly? My GPA is between 25 and 50 and my LSAT is at the 50th.

I don't think the status checkers ever change so don't worry about that.a.sch wrote:I got an email that I went complete on 10/4, and my status checker has no other information. True. I went back to check the status checker after I got the email this morning. Nothing changed.amberb94 wrote:I don't think the status checkers ever change so don't worry about that.a.sch wrote:I got an email that I went complete on 10/4, and my status checker has no other information. Re: W&M C/O of 2020 applicants (2016-2017)
I got an email from them saying "it would be desirable to see what my final grades for the fall semester are before making an admissions decision for my application."
GPA < 25th, LSAT = 75th, Significant upward trend with GPA
Anybody else get an email like this? Looks like I should be finishing the semester in the 3.3-3.4 range. I'm hoping that will be enough to sway them.

Maybe? The obvious question is what do you want to do and where? If you want to live in VA the rest of your life (and aren't willing to retake to take a shot at UVA) it's a no brainier, but if not I'd seriously consider casting q wider net.Rubbishdump wrote:Would ED be worth it/better than RD if my numbers are 165/3.89? A full scholarship seems stupid to pass up
If you're happy will full at w and m though I don't see why not, you'd almost certainly get it I'd think(though I didn't realize w and m did the Ed scholarship thing, do they?) And you likely wouldnt get quite full if you applied Rd, I had a 170+ lsat and a 3.6x and didn't quite get full.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
