Just had my interview over skype. Really laid back, nice interviewer and made me a lot more interested in the school. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about applying to definitely do the interview.

Has anyone written a statement of need? How long did you make it? Mine is slightly under 400 words right now.

your numbers mean you probably don't need one, but I would think it should be long enough to get the point across and absolutely no longer. Would imagine they get 2-3+ page letters for situations even more simple to explain than yours, so they will appreciate the brevity.theothercat wrote:Has anyone written a statement of need? Completed my interview this morning. I thought it went pretty well, but I guess as is typical, they didn't inform me of a decision on my application. I was asked the typical questions from the OP, but also was asked what skills I thought would make me a successful lawyer in the future.

Anyone get a first deposit/second deposit check box on the status checker before they got their admissions decision? Does that mean I'm in and someone forgot to send an email?

Congrats to everyone who has been admitted!
If you get a scholarship and you don't mind posting your LSAT and GPA, that would be helpful to me and maybe other people.

I submitted my app 9/30 and it is still listed as 'transmitted' and the school has not requested my app yet. Anyone else in the same boat?

You need to call them and tell them that you are reapplying and that LSAC shows that they have not requested your CAS report.guybourdin wrote:Yes.sonyco wrote:Are you a reapplicant?guybourdin wrote:I submitted my app 9/30 and it is still listed as 'transmitted' and the school has not requested my app yet. Re: WUSTL C/O 2020 (2016-2017) Applicants
ahh. thanks! I was told to contact them when I reapplied. I e-mailed my contact but he's no longer there. Assumed someone would see the e-mail anyway or it didn't matter.sonyco wrote:You need to call them and tell them that you are reapplying and that LSAC shows that they have not requested your CAS report.guybourdin wrote:Yes.sonyco wrote:Are you a reapplicant?guybourdin wrote:I submitted my app 9/30 and it is still listed as 'transmitted' and the school has not requested my app yet. How long did it take for you all to hear back after your interview? I'm 10 days past mine and no word yet.

I interviewed late last week and haven't heard back. Just curious though, have you noticed any date updates on the status checker since your interview? If so, how many?PDX4343 wrote:How long did it take for you all to hear back after your interview? I'm 10 days past mine and no word yet.
