In order to get off reserve do u have to be interviewed? Does anyone know?

That's my understanding. Last year, WL interview requests went out in early June.

Hi all, long-time lurker here. Just spoke with admissions, they said they have just started re-evaluating apps from reserve group. Makes sense given last year's timeline.

Isn't June first also when most of the deposits are due, and when we start getting the WL waterfall (Person A chooses a named scholly over Harvard, so Harvard goes to their WL, which opens opens up a spot at Columbia, etc, etc)?

Today was the deferral deadline, I believe, so that may be part of the reason. It also seems that some other schools have been slow to connect with their waitlists, so at least we're not alone? I'm pretty sure we'll start hearing more in the next few weeks.

Does anyone know if people have been accepted off of the first or second round in the past? Or how often people make it off of the reserve? I read parts of previous threads and it seemed like only one person got off the reserve right at the beginning of classes one year, but I was skipping around and definitely did not read the majority of the comments. How did you submit? Through the website? I never got confirmation and am now thinking I should look into it.

Any hope for an response soon? I need to know if there's any legitimate hope. Columbia is my #1 choice, but I have to start tracking down apartments elsewhere if it's not gonna work out. Historically it seems there would've at least been a few interview requests by now. I know chances are slim but I'm having trouble moving forward without a little more finality from them, even if it's reserve again.

Based on previous years, that seems like it's great news! That only interviewed candidates end up getting in off the wait list. Has anyone else heard back about interviews? Would be good to see how many people they are interviewing...

Also received the Second Reserve email. It's nice to still be considered...I had started worrying I would find a rejection letter in my mailbox tonight when I wasn't seeing the email in my inbox.

do people on reserve even get rejected? I feel like CLS accepts them or just keeps them in a perpetual limbo on this list. also got on second reserve.
